Skyrme Construction delivered a comprehensive two-storey extension at Cherry Tree Cottage in Aber Village, significantly expanding its footprint and modernizing its amenities.

A key aspect of this build involved overcoming the challenge of excavating 3 meters below original ground level, where we successfully installed a specialised tanking system to ensure complete damp-proofing for the new downstairs storeroom.

Built with traditional construction techniques, the extension provides a valuable storeroom on the ground floor and a new en-suite bathroom upstairs. The exterior was completed with a crisp rendered finish, and we also created a charming stone-finished entrance porch, adding character and welcoming appeal. This project highlights our expertise in complex excavations and quality traditional building.
